They presented their ideas and solutions for the given theme through a motorized team model built using LEGO bricks and SPIKE Essential or WeDo robot sets. In addition to the motorized models, the children showcased their teams through vibrant team posters, illustrating their workshops, their project themes, and, of course, how they incorporated the Core Values into everything they did.
Once again, the Core Values – Innovation, Inclusion, Exploration, Teamwork, Impact, and Fun – served as the cornerstone and permeated the entire Festival. Throughout the day, teams had the opportunity to share their ideas and innovations with other participants, providing yet another way to peer into the world of STEM.
In addition to the many visitors at the Festival, the teams presented their motorized models and team posters to a group of enthusiasts and lovers of science and education – the Reviewers.
The uniqueness of the FIRST LEGO League Explore festival lies in the fact that the work and effort of every participant are valued and rewarded with Explore medals.
The Explore Festival program was enriched by activities provided by the host, Savremena Primary School, as well as various experiments in the field of humanoid robotics and robotics for little geniuses provided by Milkica Kostić. All attendees had the opportunity to learn about the life and work, and experience the recreated experiments of Nikola Tesla, created by engineer Radomir Putnik from Zemun.
