Explore season 2023\/24<\/h2><\/div><\/div>[vc_single_image image=”56561″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]For the third consecutive year, the FIRST LEGO League Explore festival was successfully held at Savremena Primary School in Belgrade. The festival took place on April 20, 2024, organized by the “Prava Pri\u010da” Association<\/a>, together with the Slovenian organization Super Glavce,<\/a> the PDP partner for the Adria region.<\/p>\n

When it comes to the number of participating teams, the record was broken, with as many as 18 teams from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kraljevo, and Ra\u0161ka taking part this time.<\/p>\n

All teams worked diligently on researching this year’s season theme, titled MASTERPIECE. The participants were tasked with combining art and technology in a fun and innovative way to present their activities and hobbies to as many people as possible.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”56689″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]They presented their ideas and solutions for the given theme through a motorized team model built using LEGO bricks and SPIKE Essential or WeDo robot sets. In addition to the motorized models, the children showcased their teams through vibrant team posters, illustrating their workshops, their project themes, and, of course, how they incorporated the Core Values into everything they did.<\/p>\n

Once again, the Core Values \u2013 Innovation, Inclusion, Exploration, Teamwork, Impact, and Fun \u2013 served as the cornerstone and permeated the entire Festival. Throughout the day, teams had the opportunity to share their ideas and innovations with other participants, providing yet another way to peer into the world of STEM.<\/p>\n

In addition to the many visitors at the Festival, the teams presented their motorized models and team posters to a group of enthusiasts and lovers of science and education \u2013 the Reviewers.<\/p>\n

The uniqueness of the FIRST LEGO League Explore festival lies in the fact that the work and effort of every participant are valued and rewarded with Explore medals.<\/p>\n

The Explore Festival program was enriched by activities provided by the host, Savremena Primary School, as well as various experiments in the field of humanoid robotics and robotics for little geniuses provided by Milkica Kosti\u0107. All attendees had the opportunity to learn about the life and work, and experience the recreated experiments of Nikola Tesla, created by engineer Radomir Putnik from Zemun.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”56693″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css_animation=”bounceInRight” lazy_loading=”true” el_class=”slike”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”56695″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css_animation=”bounceInLeft” lazy_loading=”true” el_class=”slike”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”56691″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css_animation=”bounceInLeft” lazy_loading=”true” el_class=”slike”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]This season, support for the realization of the Explore program was provided by the following companies: EPAM Systems<\/a>, HTEC Group<\/a> and Netconomy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All the teams participating in this year’s Explore festival consisted of three to six members, aged 6 to 10, who worked diligently on their projects alongside their mentors. This time, 14 teams from Belgrade, two teams from Novi Sad, and one team each from Kraljevo and Ra\u0161ka participated. The teams are as follows:<\/p>\n
