Explore season 2024\/25<\/h2><\/div><\/div>[vc_single_image image=”56756″ img_size=”230×230″ alignment=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1765914904374{padding-top: 45px !important;}”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]On Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the premises of Savremena Primary School<\/a> in Belgrade, the FIRST LEGO League festival was held for the fourth consecutive year\u2014an event that uniquely blends the worlds of science, art, technology, and children’s imagination. The festival was organized by the “Prava Pri\u010da” Association<\/a>, in cooperation with the Slovenian organization Super Glavce<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year, the festival broke its own records\u2014featuring as many as 25 teams from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kraljevo, Po\u017earevac, and Kragujevac. These teams worked diligently on their projects and presentations, delivering a powerful message that teamwork, curiosity, and innovation can shape a better world.<\/p>\n

The theme of this year’s season was titled SUBMERGED, dedicated to finding innovative solutions to assist experts in exploring the ocean ecosystem.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”56797″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]This time, the Festival brought together teams from two program divisions \u2013 Explore and Discover. The youngest participants, members of the Discover teams, demonstrated their imagination, cooperation, and understanding of the season\u2019s theme using this year’s set and LEGO DUPLO bricks from the STEAM Park. The Explore teams presented their solutions through a motorized model, built using LEGO SPIKE Essential or WeDo sets, and a detailed team poster, which showcased their research process, teamwork, and the application of Core Values \u2013 Innovation, Inclusion, Exploration, Teamwork, Impact, and Fun. As always, these values were the heart of the Festival, clearly reflected in every smile and every exchange of ideas among the participants.<\/p>\n

A special charm was added to the event by the presentations held in front of the visitors and a group of enthusiasts known as the “Radoznalci” (The Curious Ones). They followed every idea and every motorized model with great interest, once again confirming the importance of investing in early STEM development for children.<\/p>\n

The Festival focuses on valuing every child individually. Each participant was awarded a special Explore and Discover medal, while all teams took home certificates of participation.<\/p>\n

The Festival was further enriched by exciting activities provided by the host, Savremena Primary School, as well as fascinating demonstrations from the world of robotics. Engineer Milkica Kosti\u0107 presented experiments with humanoid robots and robotics workshops. One part of the program was dedicated to the incredible creations of the “Beokocka”<\/a> organization, made from hundreds of LEGO bricks. The Festival was also enhanced by a formula car model created by the first Serbian Formula Student team from the University of Belgrade \u2013 “Drumska Strela” (Road Arrow).<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”56800″ img_size=”600×400″ alignment=”center” css_animation=”bounceInRight” lazy_loading=”true” el_class=”slike”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”56803″ img_size=”600×400″ alignment=”center” css_animation=”bounceInLeft” lazy_loading=”true” el_class=”slike”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”56805″ img_size=”600×400″ alignment=”center” css_animation=”bounceInLeft” lazy_loading=”true” el_class=”slike”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]This inspiring celebration of children’s creativity would not have been possible without the support of companies Magna International<\/a>, EPAM<\/a>, and HTEC Group<\/a>, which once again recognized the importance of developing scientific literacy among the youngest.<\/p>\n

Of course, no children’s celebration is complete without refreshments\u2014throughout the day, participants and organizers enjoyed products from Knjaz Milo\u0161<\/a> and Jaffa Crvenka<\/a>, companies that once again demonstrated what it means to be a partner to a growing community.<\/p>\n

One team was voted by their peers for the “Peer Award,” and that was team “Digi Deep Corydoras” from the “Digi Klinci”<\/a> programming school in Belgrade. Every idea, every poster, and every motorized model received well-deserved attention and praise.<\/p>\n
